2. Data We Collect
We only collect data that you voluntarily enter in the subscription form:
- Email address — required to receive job alerts.
- State of residence — optional.
- Job category or sector of interest — optional.
- Phone number — optional.
- Keywords and location entered in the search bar at the time of subscription — optional.
- Consent records — date and type of consent given, for legal audit purposes.
We do not collect sensitive data (health, religion, political opinions, ethnic origin) in any form field.
3. Purpose of Processing
3.1 Primary purpose (required consent)
If you agreed to receive communications from Calcugui, your data is used to:
- Send periodic job alerts personalized to your profile.
- Communicate updates about the Calcugui jobs service.
4. Data Sharing with Third Parties (optional consent)
If you explicitly checked the box "I agree that Calcugui may share my data with selected companies and advertisers", your data may be shared with third parties under the following conditions:
- Possible recipients: staffing agencies, insurance companies, financial institutions, educational platforms, and advertisers operating in sectors related to your profile.
- Data shared: email, state, category, phone (if provided), and job preferences.
- Purpose: commercial offers, job opportunities, insurance, financial products, and related professional services.
- Safeguard: third-party recipients are contractually required to handle data in compliance with applicable US privacy laws and not to re-share it without your express consent.
This consent is completely voluntary. Declining does not affect your access to the job alerts service.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
- Express consent for all purposes, provided via unchecked checkboxes at the time of subscription.
- Legitimate interest for the technical recording of consents for legal audit purposes.
6. Data Retention
Data is retained while your subscription is active. Upon a deletion or consent withdrawal request, your data will be removed within 30 days, unless a legal obligation requires us to retain it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence (including but not limited to California under CCPA), you may have the right to:
- Access: know what data we hold about you.
- Correction: fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: request removal of your data ("right to be forgotten").

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), restricted staff access, and storage on services with recognized security standards (Google Workspace). In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users promptly.

10. International Data Transfers
